Linarense's generosity in action: three aid trucks set off for Valencia – Linares28 – El diario digital de Linares

The transportation of one hundred pallets with essential products to Valencia, collected through the impulsada por el Ayuntamiento de Linares humanitarian aid campaign for those affected by DANA, has already begun. Yesterday, the first truck left the municipality's warehouse, and today two more are doing it to transport the goods they were able to collect thanks to the solidarity of the citizens. Mayor Auxi del Olmo, accompanied by Mamen Muñoz, councilor-representative of Social Welfare, took part in the release of the load and highlighted “the great examples of the generosity of the Linarenses for this reason”.

“There have been many people, associations, collectives, fraternities and institutions that have collaborated in this campaign to help in their capacity to mitigate the consequences of this disaster. We appreciate and recognize all this support, which once again proves and demonstrates the great generosity of the city of Linares, “said Del Olmo, also highlighting the “laudable work of all the volunteers who own the Collaborado en el buen desarrollo de la campaign”.

The transportation of goods is carried out by MLC and ESP Solutions companies. Generación de Fe y Makers ONGD Ingenieros y Professionales for Mundo Mejor son las entitas valencianas que se encargarán de la reception and distribution de cargomento. Shipments are being made gradually from the receiving warehouses in Valencia according to the instructions and deadlines, so a new shipment with the rest of the goods collected in this solidarity is expected to be sent from Linares next week.
