XXXVIII Premio de Pintura 'Emilio Ollero' del IEG counted with one hundred participants in this edition – Linares28 – El diario digital de Linares

The XXXVIII Premio de Pintura 'Emilio Ollero', which convenes the Instituto de Estudios Giennenenses (IEG) de la Diputación, is presented this year for the centenary. The first prize of this competition was given to the artist Javier Aldarias of Baezano for his work “Secretos velados”. In addition to this artist, who will receive 10,000 euros after winning this competition, Ignacio Estudillo from Granada, who won the second prize for his work “Sin Titulo”, was awarded the prize this year to Miguel Repolles from Córdoba, his work “Mi padre en la ventana”; y al madrileño Diego Vallejo, trabajo called 'La compuerta'.

Francisca Medina, first vice president of the Diputacion and in charge of the IEG, emphasizes the high participation in this new edition of the “Emilio Ollero” prize, launched in 1987 with the aim of promoting and promoting culture. artistic creativity, as well as the dissemination of knowledge and fine arts. “All cultural events are necessary because they bring knowledge and help society to be freer and more conscious when making its decisions,” he emphasizes, emphasizing “the obligation of public institutions to carry la culture a todo el mundo, a cada rincón.” de nuestros territorios garantiando siempre la igualdad de oportunidades”.
