Kash Patel, Trump's controversial nominee for FBI Director, vows to release the confidential “Diddy list” and Epstein files.
Donald Trump's controversial FBI Director nominee, Kash Patel, has stated plans to reveal the so-called “Diddy list” and the infamous Epstein files. Patel reiterated his intentions during an interview on the Benny Johnson podcast, citing a commitment to restoring trust in federal agencies by exposing “decades of alleged corruption.”
“They are terrified,” said Patel. “[Trump’s] going to come in there and maybe give the Epstein list and maybe give the P. Diddy list. The American people deserve the truth.”
Prior to being announced as Trump's pick for FBI Director, Patel said the federal agency has “direct control” of the Epstein list, and that Bill Gates was “lobbying” Congress to prevent the list's disclosure, “because of who's on that list.”
But the spotlight has turned onto the potential disclosure of the Diddy list as allegations against the music mogul continue to mount. That list refers to celebrities linked to Combs and the sex trafficking allegations for which he was arrested in September.
“These documents, particularly those linked to Epstein and Diddy, could shed light on matters the American people deserve to understand,” Patel told The EconoTimes. “It's time to clear the air and reveal who's been involved in covering up the truth.”
Trump himself has suggested that he might make the Epstein list public, but has not yet promised to do so, and has made no mention of the Diddy list. But Patel has been talking about releasing those lists since last year, well before the news that he was Trump's pick for FBI Director. He told Benny Johnson last December, “Put on your big boy pants and let us know who the pedophiles are.”
Patel's lack of traditional law enforcement experience and a history of inflammatory rhetoric has made him a contentious choice for FBI Director. Even notable Trump ally, former Attorney General William Barr, has criticized Patel, calling his potential appointment “dangerous.”
