El CEL komienza esta tarde sus IX Jornadas 'Linares, ciudad y cultura', decadas al ambiente de la caminería – Linares28 – El diario digital de Linares

El Centro de Estudios Linarenses (CEL) starts this evening, at 19:30, the program of the IX Jornadas “Linares, the city and culture”, with the theme “Caminería during the Linares: History and Urban Development”. The Fundación Casa-Museo Andrés Segovia will host the official opening of this city, where Susana Ferrer, Councilor-Representative for Culture and President of CEL, will be present together with Rosio Carrascosa, Director of CEL. Initial interventions, Concept Academic Titular Concept Presentation and Studies in Francisco Mañas CEL.

“The city center of Linares, Estudios Centro Linares, is close to the local culture and history. There will be meetings where we will talk about the peculiarities and specifications of our geographical environment, its archaeological heritage and the urban development of our city over the years. Finally, CEL has what makes you unique in the geographical and ancestral enclave of Linares a day that invites you to learn all its features,” said Ferrer.

The program of the days will continue tomorrow, at 19:30, with a conference called “Approximación a la Carta Arqueológica de Linares en suelo no urbanizable” by Ángela Sánchez López, archaeologist and Academic Advisor of CEL. Then, on Thursday, at 7:30 p.m., there will be a panel discussion entitled “El Urbanismo en Linares: pasado, presente y futuro” with the participation of architects Rafael Rascón, Miguel Ángel Díaz and Manuel de Torres.
