Representatives of the Linares PSOE held a meeting yesterday with ambulance vendors and members of the Asociación de Colección y Antigüedades to address the difficulties these collectives face in their activities in the municipality. According to PSOE representatives, traders sought support from the group ahead of what they perceived as inattention by the People's Party (PP) government team.
During the meeting, the ambulance vendors expressed their displeasure over the recent relocation. Traditionally, these merchants set up their posts in the central areas of the municipality during events such as Semana Santa or Navidad, giving cultural and economic value to local festivities, according to their argument. The embargo of sin, the new location established by the City Council, which is responsible for the government team of the PP, has caused concern among vendors who feel that the change will limit their visibility and reduce the population's access to areas of high wealth.
Linares PSOE expressed its support for these collectives and reiterated the importance of the City Council's government team to facilitate the dialogue and consider their appeals. In this sense, the party called on the local executive authority to revise the areas where sales outlets are located and facilitate the necessary procedures that allow sellers to develop their activities in optimal conditions.
In addition, from the PSOE, they emphasize that this event can benefit the local economy, especially during periods of great tourist influx, such as Christmas or Semana Santa celebrations, when the presence of these vendors in the city center traditionally contributes to the dynamics of commerce.
