The Diputación organizes twenty activities related to the legacy of Miguel Hernández in the last quarter of the year – Linares28 – El diario digital de Linares

The Diputación de Jaén, with the help of the Fundación Legado Literario Miguel Hernández, has prepared an extensive program of twenty activities that will take place in the last quarter of this year. The realization of these proposals is related to the celebration of the 114th anniversary of the birth of the Alicante poet on October 30. “Since this date, several years ago, we have been carrying out a series of events to remember the importance of this writer, who is very connected to our land, whose heritage we protect,” explains the third vice president and deputy for cultural affairs. and Sports África Colomo.

Among other things, it is expected to receive exhibitions, conferences, poetry readings and various gifts of works related to Miguel Hernandez. With this program, “We fulfill our obligation to obtain his legacy that there is no other way to spread it, and we remember this author's life testimony and compromise with equality and justice,” Colomo notes.

From the main part of the program, the proposals are selected exhibitions such as “Invisible”, adapted to the plastic works of Juan Garces and the poems of Miguel Hernandez, which can be seen on the patio of La Merced de Cazorla until November 20; la de “Fotopoética Hernandiana II”, Expuesta en Peal de Becerro, entrada del teatro Rafael Alberti, ill el 8 December; la titulada “Un rayo de poesía y vida”, que se puede ver en el IES Los Cerros de Ubeda until tomorrow, November 19; “Thank you very much. The program prepared with these examples includes the poetic recitals that Salvador García Ramírez will present on November 20 at the Sala Hernandiana of the Baños Arabes Cultural Center as part of the 40th anniversary of the awarding of the European Nostra Prize. restoration of this monument. Donations of plastic works were also produced, as was the case of Mancharrealeño artist Juan Molino, who donated oil on a large-scale canvas called “The Allegory of Rafael Zabaleta and Miguel Hernandez” to be exhibited in the Hernandiano spaces. Fundación Legado Literario; Miguel Hernández; and another ten oils donated by the Alicante painter Antonio Ballesta, six of which are directly related to the poet, the other two to Federico García Lorca and the last two to Maria Zambrano.
