Last night, the opening concert of XXXII Encuentro de Guitarra “Ciudad de Linares” was held at Fundación Museo Andrés Segovia. At the concert, the young Italian guitarist Carlotta Dalia impressed the public with her virtuosity. In the presentation, Susana Ferrer, cultural adviser, emphasized the importance of this musical meeting, which honors maestro Andrés Segovia and presents Linares as a reference in the field of guitar. The XXXII Encuentro de Guitarra, which will run from November 11 to 17, will feature a week of concerts featuring internationally renowned artists from Spain, Italy, Ukraine, China and Japan. Ferrer noted that this edition will allow you to enjoy a varied and high-level repertoire with interpretations by soloists, guitar and piano duos, and quartets.

In addition to the series of concerts, the Encuentro de Guitarra resumes this year with the International Guitar Competition, open to participants from all over the world, with registration open until November 13. The artistic director of Fundación Andrés Segovia, José Manuel Cuenca, also participated in the presentation and gave detailed information about the programming of the event.
